Welcome at Grand Café Restaurant "De Griffel"

Grand Café Restaurant "De Griffel" is known all over De Bilt and its neighbourhoud.

It's established in a characteristic house of the former head teacher. You will find "De Griffel" at the "Hessenweg"; an enjoyable and busy shopping street. The restaurant is build up in three different settings: We will start to tell you something about our patio. In this marvelous inside garden you are surrounded by nice flowers and trees. When you have your dinner in the patio you can imagine your self in foreign atmospheres. And when the weather is nice, we open our roof.

The characteristics of the twenties you will find in our sun room. Here we bring back past ages by lamps with the original Jugendstil. You will sit at old tables insert with marble with chairs with brown leather seats. Because of this we can create the atmosphere which compares to the Jugendstil style .

And then there is our café furnished with dark chairs and tables. Because of this it looks like if you are in an old pub. We will welcome you for a cup of coffee with a piece of pie and lunches. Beside this we also have a menu which contains many different dishes. We look forward to welcome you at De Griffell!
